It starts here…

In 2003 I took part in a vision quest in Death Valley, California. I went to experience what it would be like to be completely alone, sleeping beneath the stars, with no-one else around me and no food for distraction (I fasted for three days)

Yet what I found was that in the middle of the desert I was surrounded by life- flies and flowers and birds and insects and incredibly everywhere I went I found heart shaped stones. Initially I took this to be an oddity but after a couple of days I started laughing to myself as I found yet another heart shaped stone, or heart shaped leaf, or cloud.

I had gone into the desert to get a vision and a vision I had got- a vision of literally dozens and dozens of hearts speaking to me or shouting at me in the middle of the desert- “Your Heart is what matters” “Follow your Heart” “Listen to your Heart” and in the years since my quest into the desert I have continued on my quest to follow my heart.

Faith, Courage and Wisdom have been essential qualities that I have depended upon, grown within me and at times have been the only solid ground under my feet as I keep walking the path of my heart, often with shaky knees and tears streaming down my face.

This website is a collection of those items of Faith, Courage and Wisdom I have found to have been beacons lighting the way for me and also a chance to document my continuing journey.

I hope that it may be of benefit to others also listening to and following their own hearts.
